Welcome to Junfeng Sun, PhD
We warmly welcome Dr. Sun to our department as an Assistant Professor. Junfeng Sun received his PhD degree in Biostatistics from the Department of Statistics, Ohio State University in 2005. He also has a BS degree in Biology, MS degree in Molecular Biology and Microbiology and an MS degree in Statistics. Before joining Georgetown University in October 2008, he had been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics, University of Nebraska Medical Center for 3 years. Dr. Sun has also served as the Lead Statistician for Phase 1/Pilot Consortium, Senior Statistician for Renal Tumor Committee in the Children’s Oncology Group. Dr. Sun has considerable experience collaborating/consulting with investigators in randomized clinical trials, prospective and retrospective observational studies, and basic science investigations. His main areas of research interests include the design and analysis of oncology clinical trials, Bayesian Biostatistics, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), meta-analysis and medication adherence.
